The Poison Adrena 173MH casting rod from Shimano is a top-of-the-range rod. The Poison Adrena range is available in casting and spinning styles to suit all applications.

Extremely light, responsive and sensitive, this is a model with a moderate fast action. Built from a stronger blank than ever before, it features the new Spiral X Core design. The Poison Adrena 173MH combines the new Full Carbon Monocoque handle with the new ergonomic Perfection XT reel seat. This combination greatly increases the sensitivity of the rod. The Fuji SiC-S guides and Titanium SiC tip ring round off the rod.

Thanks to its Moderate Fast action, the Poison Adrena 173MH is a versatile rod. The 173MH is rated between 10 and 30g. It will accept lures within this range for pike or black bass fishing. Thanks to its high power, this rod is ideal for extracting predators from cluttered environments such as dead wood or weed beds.
