The Sweepfire surfcasting rod from Daiwa is a rod for surfcasting from the beach. Designed for beginner surfcasting anglers, these rods still have a lot going for them at an unbeatable price. Made from 3 elements, this rod features a carbon blank with a classic joint and reinforcing ring. Its aluminium oxide rings are resistant to salt and the elements, as is its EVA foam handle, which also ensures optimum fishing comfort.
Thanks to its progressive tip action, the Sweepfire sufcasting rod offers optimum fight control to reduce the number of stalls. Its tubular screw reel seat will hold a 4500 or 5000 mm reel for perfect balance.
